Remember!  Enjoy yourself - It's later than you think!!

There's no time like the present for chilling out and lightening up.  If you never get round to making time for pleasurable activities, career change or travel you may find that you don't ever do them. People who hold a responsible yet light-hearted attitude about themselves, and life in general, are usually far more pleasant to be around. Live for the moment! If you don't do the things you would like to, you will never experience the feelings associated with it, and you will continue to wonder what it would have been like if you had done it. We get one chance at this life, seize it with both hands and enjoy it!
It's your life, don't give your control away to others!

Don't Waste Your Time on Anger

No one can make you angry. Whether you become angry or not depends on how you choose to react to circumstances.  Suppose someone cuts you off in traffic and "makes" you angry, then you decide to speed up and do the same to that driver. What is the result? You have turned over your power to the other driver. You started out driving safely, but now you are driving dangerously because of what someone did to you. You gave them the power to change your behaviour! Does that make any sense? Don't let others manipulate your situation by giving away your self control.

Between stimulus and response there is a space. In that space is our power to choose our response. In our response lies our growth and our freedom. VF

Being tolerant does not mean that I share another one's belief, but it does mean that I acknowledge another one's right to believe, and obey, his own conscience.

Green, which is Nature's colour, is restful, soothing, cheerful, and health-giving - Paul Brunton

The Colour Psychology of Green

Green is a cool colour that symbolizes nature and the natural world.

  • Green also represents tranquility, good luck and health.

  • Researchers have also found that green can improve reading ability. Some students may find that laying a transparent sheet of green paper over reading material increases reading speed and comprehension.

  • Green has long been a symbol of fertility and was once the preferred colour choice for wedding gowns in the 15th-century.
  • Green is often used in decorating for its calming effect. For example, guests waiting to appear on television programs often wait in a “green room” to relax.

  • Green is thought to relieve stress and help heal. Those who have a green work environment experience fewer stomachaches.
