EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques)

"The cause of negative emotions
is a disruption in the body's energy system."

EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques)
Based on impressive new discoveries regarding the body's subtle energies, Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) has proven successful in thousands of clinical cases. It applies to just about every emotional, health and performance issue you can name and it often works where nothing else will.

EFT is based on the discovery that imbalances in the body's energy system have profound effects on one's personal psychology. Correcting these imbalances, which is done by tapping on certain body locations, often leads to rapid remedies. (This is especially so when you reduce the problems to specific negative events in your life.)

EFT is a potent technique that helps you take control of your body and your thoughts. This technique was developed by Gary Craig in 1990 and has originated from acupuncture, kinesiology, and psychology. This wonderful technique has shown amazing results in developing attitude and behaviour, resolving personal problems, decreasing stress, and restoring life balance.

Many beliefs, especially those negative ones you may have about yourself or people you know are only an opinion that you are emotionally attached to. (Belief - Acceptance of truth of something: acceptance by the mind that something is true or real, often underpinned by an emotional or spiritual sense of certainty)

In other words, those beliefs are held in place by your feelings. Remove the feeling associated to the belief and you'll find there may be room for choice where none existed before.  This is the difference between a thought and a belief. An emotion becomes attached to the thought (or opinion), as a signal to the mind that the thought is necessary for survival at some level, and as a result that thought, which is now a belief, can be difficult to change.

EFT helps remove unhelpful beliefs. In fact, there is no difference as far as the body is concerned between a "Negative" and a "Positive" Belief. A Negative belief is just one that may be unhelpful to your wellbeing, and a Positive one is a belief that you have judged to be helpful.

For example, someone might have been a passenger in a car that was involved in an accident as a child and when they are older be very afraid of being with someone else who is driving. There's no rational reason for them to be afraid of that, but it adversely affects their life.

A painless technique
EFT aims at returning the mind, body, and emotions of an individual to a balanced and harmonious state so that he or she is free from negative emotions.

EFT is a gentle method that works by balancing the body’s energy system.
Often an individual may be affected by a bad relationship, trauma, or loss. Work related stress, depression, interpersonal problems, and anxieties also affect our mental health. These negative emotions block the flow of energy in our system and have a detrimental effect on our health. EFT helps in releasing these negative emotions and resolving the problem.

The Only Meaning Anything has is the Meaning You give it.

While EFT produces remarkable clinical results, it must still be considered to be in the experimental stage and thus the public must take complete responsibility for their use of it.
